Elite Camp offers the highest level of training to the experienced player. Designed to expose campers to the collegiate practice and competition environment and is a great opportunity for athletes to raise their overall skill level in a challenging atmosphere. Campers will receive instruction on all types of volleyball contacts and an understanding of how each touch fits into an overall offensive and defensive system. The Elite Camp prepares campers for a faster, more intense level of volleyball. Campers will also receive a t-shirt, water bottle and SDSU Jackrabbits Gift!
Elite Camp also includes an information session about the recruiting process, NCAA compliance, and the strength and conditioning side of volleyball training.
Elite Camp – July 18th-20th (Thursday, Friday & Saturday)
Check-in: Thursday, July 18th – 1:00-2:00pm
Camp Sessions:
Thursday – 2:00-4:30pm, 6:00-8:00pm
Friday – 9:30am-Noon, 2:00-4:30pm, 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday – 9:30am-Noon, 1:30-4:00pm
For campers entering grades 10-12
Cost: Commuter - $250 including lunches and dinners. (A 7.5% sales tax is included in the camp fee.)
FAQs:
What should I bring? All campers should bring the following: court shoes, shorts, t-shirts, socks and knee pads (if desired). In addition, resident campers should bring a fan, towel and personal toiletries.
What is the player to coach ratio? At minimum we will have at least 1 coach for every 8 campers.

South Dakota State University Volleyball Camps are geared toward improving the skills of players at various levels from grades 2-12. Camps provide opportunities for players to experience the excitement surrounding the Jackrabbit Volleyball program. Jackrabbit Volleyball Camps give athletes the tools necessary to become a more complete volleyball player. Our coaching staff and players work with players, from beginners to elite level, in a competitive and fun environment and provide the opportunity to take your skills to the next level. The competitive camp structure is designed to instruct, motivate, and challenge you and help prepare you for your upcoming season and beyond.

- Jackrabbit Volleyball camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
- If a camper will require any accommodations due to special needs, we ask that you notify us via email or in writing of those needs a minimum of two weeks prior to the camp start date so we can make the accommodations.
