Camp Dates: June 9 - June 13 Location: Brookings S.D., South Dakota State University Facility: Frost Arena Check-in: June 9, 8 a.m. in the Wrestling Room Check-out: June 13, 12 p.m.
This camp is geared towards wrestlers grades K-5. Jr. Jackrabbit Commuter Camp focuses on the fundamentals of wrestling to ensure that wrestlers build a strong foundation in their development. This is an instructional clinic in a fun environment that gets the young wrestler excited about this great sport. Sessions are taught by the South Dakota State University camp staff.
*This is a commuter camp; there will be one session per day from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in our wrestling room located in Frost Arena.
What To Bring:
· Campers should bring running shoes and wrestling shoes
· Campers should bring a water bottle
I am very excited to bring great wrestling camps back to our campus and university. I ensure you that our staff will provide great training and leadership at our Jackrabbit wrestling camps. Our goal is to help young wrestlers take the next step in the wrestling progression in becoming not only better wrestlers, but also becoming better individuals. All SDSU wrestling camps are open to any and all competitors with a desire to improve and succeed. 7.5% sales tax included in the camp fee.
If a camper will require any accommodations due to special needs we ask that you notify us via email or in writing of those needs a minimum of two weeks prior of the camp start date so we can make accommodations.
