Every year the Eldorado High School Football Program hosts a football camp for youth football players and for young athlete’s ages 7 to 14 up to 8th grade. This football camp is the largest fundraiser that the Football Team hosts for their football season. Participants of the camp will get one on one instruction from all coaches of the Eldorado Football Staff, including Head Coach Charlie Dotson. The Golden Eagle Football Camp will be held on June 13th, 14th and 15th at Eldorado High School. All of Coach Dotsons’ Coaching staff will be on site to help each participant. 2012, 2014 State Semifinals The Golden Eagle Football Camp is instructed by Head Coach Charlie Dotson and his experienced football coaching staff. The staff consists of all of his Assistant Coaches along with the help of the E.H.S. football team and past Eldorado Football Alumni. This is a non-contact football camp. Calendar of Events Dates of Camp Tuesday June 13th, Wednesday June 14th, and Thursday June 15th Check in will be in the courtyard every morning before attending the camp. Check in time is 8:00 am. Time of camp is from 8:30 am to 11:30a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The camp will be held at Eldorado High School on the soccer field and the football practice fields. Eligibility and Attire All young ATHLETES ages 7 to 14 (up to 8th grade) are invited to attend this camp. Participants should wear loose fitting shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes and/ or cleats. No previous experience or registration with youth football is required to attend. Lunch A boxed lunch will be provided to all campers. Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 12:00 in the courtyard. Camp Features Fundamentals, Special Teams and “7 on7”. Basic drills, OL-DL training, contests, SpecialEagle T-shirt and lunch provided every day of the camp. Each group will get one on one attention from an experienced coach and will get instruction from the H.S. football players. Each day the campers will go away learning how to block, punt, tackle and kick during their individual instruction. Golden Eagle Youth Football Coaches Clinic At the Golden Eagle Football Camp not only does the camp benefit the youth football players, but their coaches get a three day seminar with Coach Dotson and his staff at no additional charge to help them during their upcoming season.
