Rams Basketball Academy is designed to not only teach the fundamental skills of basketball to beginning players, but to challenge the athlete who is preparing for their upcoming season.  The game of basketball will be taught in an exciting, competitive environment so your child can develop a love for the game of basketball, while creating excitement for Rio Rancho Girls & Boys Basketball.  Each player will be taught the fundamentals of basketball and will be challenged in individual skill building drills such as, ball handling, explosive individual moves, shooting, rebounding, and defense.

 

Director:

Scott Peterson is the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Rio Rancho High School.  He has worked in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, at the college level with the University of New Mexico Men's Basketball team, and at the high school level.  Scott has run successful basketball clinics for years and wants to bring that excitement, confidence, and experience, to your athlete!

 

Camp Bank - Additional snacks, drinks, and gear can be purchased from the camp store from funds from the "camp bank".  Parents can take the worry out of money being lost.  There is no need to send money with your camper, just deposit money in the "camp bank", and the money will be deposited in your camper's account at the camp store.  Any remaining balance will need to be claimed the last day of camp.
