We hope this finds your summer off to a productive start.  This is when players/coaches develop and take their games and programs to higher levels of performance and success.  During this window of opportunity, it is imperative to remain consistent, disciplined, and focused “getting better” – while at the same time it is wise to test your skill versus the highest caliber of competition.  With these thoughts in mind, we wanted to make sure that you were aware of an outstanding NCAA CERTIFIED event taking place on July 30-July 31, 2009 in Toronto, Ontario at Hoop Dome – The 2009 Canada Challenge (ages 14–23).

The 2009 Caribana Classic will feature the finest High School – Prep School and Junior College Prospects in North America (ages 14-23).  128 players will be divided into 16 teams of 8 players per team. You will participate in NCAA Rules Education, a team practice/ development session, and 4 games over a 30 hour period.  The camp will be intensive and very competitive.  Rosters will be coordinated according to your age, region, school, or program.  For example: Team Quebec will be comprised of players from Quebec or who goto school in that region.

The purpose of this event is to promote “Education Through Basketball” by offering an NCAA-NJCAA-NAIA-Canadian College exposure opportunity.  Three components will be emphasized-NCAA Rules Education, High Caliber Competition, and Personal Development.

The 2009 Caribana Classic is a “CAN’T MISS OPPORTUNITY”.  The event will take place at one of the finest basketball facilities in Canada – Hoop Dome (75 Carl Hall Road – Toronto, ON M3K2B9).  We are expecting over 100 College Coaches from all levels including NCAA Division 1, Division II, NJCAA programs, NAIA programs, and many of the finest Canadian programs in the country.  Along with the many College programs in attendance we have received commitments from some of the finest scouting services in the industry including evaluators from rivals.com, scout.com, jucojunction.com, and ESPN insider.
