Time: 5:30 pm-8:30 pm Location: Southington High School We would like to invite you to our Individual Fundamental Skills Volleyball Camp for 2023-2024 incoming 4th through 9th-grade students. The camp will be held the week of June 26th - June 30th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Southington High's varsity coach, Richard Heitz, will host and direct the camp. Coach Heitz has previously been recognized as the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year for Girl's Volleyball, a National High School Coach of the Year Finalist and is an inductee into the Connecticut Volleyball Hall of Fame. The Blue Knight Future Volleyball Stars Individual Camp will focus on meeting the needs of both the beginner volleyball player who has yet to play on an organized team or who has only played 6th, 7th, and/or 8th grade at their school. Skills presented over the five sessions will include passing, serving, hitting, and blocking as well as team offense and team defense. There will be plenty of time for fun and games and to test your skills. Each participant will also receive a t-shirt and the chance to test their skills for other prizes and awards. Participants are generally divided into compatible smaller groups of like age and/or ability. Each small group is then assigned a coach to work with that group. The camp will be staffed by the Southington High School Volleyball Staff and will include current players assisting certain evenings as well as former returning Blue Knight or collegiate players. We have limited gym space and want all campers to have room to participate, so we are restricted in the number of campers we can accept. Come dressed and ready to play!! Refund Policy A $20.00 nonrefundable fee will be assessed for each registration. There will be no refunds after June 16, 2023.
