Time: 9 am - 2:30 pm Location: Southington High School We would like to invite you to our Individual Fundamental Skills Volleyball Camp for 2025-2026 incoming 6th through 9th-grade students. The camp will be held August 14th & August 15th. Southington High's varsity coach, Richard Heitz, will host and direct the camp. Coach Heitz has previously been recognized as the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year for Girls' Volleyball, a National High School Coach of the Year Finalist, the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association Region I (representing NY, CT, NH, ME, NH, VT, MA and RI) Coach of the Yera and is an inductee into the Connecticut Volleyball Hall of Fame. The Blue Knight Future Volleyball Stars Individual Mini-Camp will focus on meeting the needs of both the beginner volleyball player who has yet to play on an organized team or who has only played 6th, 7th, and/or 8th grade at their school. Skills presented over the sessions will include passing, serving, hitting, and blocking, as well as team offense and team defense. Each participant will also receive a camp t-shirt. Participants are generally divided into compatible smaller groups of like age and/or ability. Each small group is then assigned a coach to work with that group. The camp will be staffed by the Southington High School Volleyball Staff and may include current players assisting as well as former returning Blue Knight or collegiate players. We have limited gym space and want all campers to have room to participate, so we are restricted in the number of campers we can accept. Come dressed and ready to play!! Refund Policy A $20.00 nonrefundable fee will be assessed for each registration. There will be no refunds after August 4, 2025.
