Toby Manzanares teaches Physical Education at Rio Rancho High School, and just completed his 39th year as a Head Volleyball Coach, the last 29 years at RRHS.  The "Rams" have won 11 District 1-5A titles, and have finished as the New Mexico Class 5A State Runner-up in 2001, 2004, 2008, and 6A Runner-up in 2014.

Coach “Manz” has coached the “Rams” to the New Mexico Class 5A State Championship in six of his 29 seasons (2002, ‘03, ‘05, ‘06, ‘07, & ‘09).  Four New Mexico Class 5A State Runner-up finishes (2001, '04, '08, (6A) '14) adds to the collection of successful seasons at RRHS.  While at St. Pius X High School, Manzanares led the Sartans to a NM Class State runner-up in 1993, and the NM Class 3A State Championship in 1994.
